Travel & Accomodation
Heidelberg is located in the beautiful south of Germany. The charming city with around 160,000 inhabitants is crossed by the River Neckar and attracts many international visitors every year.
From afar, you can travel by plane to the nearest international airports in Frankfurt (Main) or Stuttgart. From there, Heidelberg is reached by train or bus. You can find possible connections on the Deutsche Bahn website. The Uniplatz, the central location of the Climate Neighbourhoods, is located in the historic city centre, about 3 km from Heidelberg Central Station. During the conference, participants will have access to free public transport.
